Cini Boeri graduated from Milan’s Politecnico university in 1951, and following a brief internship with Giò Ponti, she began a long partnership with Marco Zanuso. She set up as an independent professional in 1963, working in civil architecture and industrial design. She has worked in Italy and abroad, designing detached houses, apartments, museum spaces, offices and shops, focusing a great deal of attention on the careful study of the functionality of a space and the psychological relations between people and their environment. In the field of industrial design she has focused in particular on the creation of interior design elements and building components. Many of her creations can be seen in international exhibitions and museums.
