Raul Barbieri was born in Milan in 1946, and graduated in Architecture at the city’s Politecnico university in 1972. Among his numerous architectural works, in the early nineties he designed three rows of terraced houses that are now a significant and distinguishing characteristic of piazza Novelli, between via Vanvitelli and via del Sarto, in the Città Studi district of Milan, a project that was presented in London in 1999 for the exhibition “Compasso d’Oro ADI Architectural Design”. A long-time coordinator of the planners’ department for ADI, he has worked with numerous firms, both in Italy and further afield, and many of his projects have received accolades or been selected for major international design competitions
