Details

Its name comes from tradition, but its aesthetic is innovative. Its legs of injected aluminum seem to flow smoothly just like the distinctive black ink strokes of shodo (Japanese calligraphy) and evoke organic elements. Its elegance is based upon the balance between simplicity and delicateness, as well as upon a harmonious structure allowing for visual lightness. Highly technological materials and systems blend in with reminiscences of the animal and plant kingdom, the exotic Japanese culture and the first inhabitants of a land called Iberia synthesizing in a unique piece.

The firm of Lievore Altherr Molina was founded in Barcelona in 1991 by Alberto Lievore, Jannette Altherre and Manel Molina. Its current activities include interior design, packaging design, art direction and consulting, as well as teaching posts in two university centres in Barcelona.
