Overplan is a modular sofa that stands out for its elegant, harmonious proportions and is a sofa project that looks perfect in any – not necessarily domestic – setting to which it conveys the beauty and elegance of freedom of arrangement. The sofa can be complemented by various types of armrests and offers original metal accessories covered with leather for the armrest with storage and with fabric or leather for the back support.

ABOUT DESIGNER

Architect and designer Matteo Thun, born in Bolzano (1952), studied at the Academy of Salzburg with Oskar Kokoschka at the University of Florence. In 1984 he opened his own office in Milan. He was awarded three times the prestigious Compasso d’Oro prize. Matteo Thun & Partners (Luca Colombo, Herbert Rathmaier and Antonio Rodriguez) works internationally on architectural, interior and product design projects. The office includes a team of around 50 international professionals, architects, product designers, interior designers and graphic designers. The continuous interdisciplinary challenge is the successful formula of the so called Via Appiani Family.

Désirée, a manufacturer of upholstered furniture since 1968, based in Tezze di Piave near Treviso, Italy. Désirée philosophy mainly focuses on manufacturing an industrial product, in the upholstered furniture sector, with guaranteed quality and comfort for different uses. Its extensive collection of upholstered furniture includes armchairs, sofas, convertibles, beds and complementary items for the home and for contract furnishing schemes.
