Heart of yarn. Rather than fabrics, these rugs look more like a series of knots framed in a subtle square. A meditated consideration with a magical simplicity. Two contrasting threads intertwine to create stronger, thicker yarns. These cords have a markedly graphic, individual character with a strong, mesmerizing visual effect. Launched in 2016.
After graduating cum laude from Design Academy Eindhoven, Man&Living department in 2012, Dienke is working on projects with a strong emphasis on experiment with materiality and techniques, focusing mainly on textiles. Currently Dienke is based in Hamburg, Germany and works as designer for Kinnasand.
